MidAtlantic Horse Rescue rescues slaughter-bound ex-racehorses from kill pens and feed lots. After quarantine and evaluation, they place them in loving homes as pleasure and sport horses.
The organization is based at the historic Woodstock Farm, Chesapeake City, Maryland, home of the great Kelso, five-time Horse of the Year, and other famous Thoroughbreds.
